Furniture & white goods
Besom gets requests from key workers to assist clients in setting up home. We are delighted to accept furniture, household items and electrical appliances such as cookers, washing machines and fridge freezers. Items should be clean and in good condition and beds and sofas require fire tags.
Giving
money
None of us is paid but there are costs involved in renting our storage unit and running a van. The team sometimes is able to buy items for clients where we have funding; for example a cooker, washing machine or items for making their home comfortable such as curtain poles. If you would like to donate towards operating costs or help us buy items for our clients, there are two ways of doing so:
